This is just a thought, so don't take this too seriously

Whats the point of crash testing? I can think of 1 reason, a crash rating to advertise for enco cars...

But whats the point of crash testing cars that you want to import such as a skyline?

If they let motorcycles on the road, then why not any car? No matter how you look at it, a car will always be safer in a crash than a motorcycle... So whats the point of crash testing if they are going to let people drive things like motorcycles on the roads?

This has just always bugged me...

maybe because you have fewer passengers on a motorcycle, and because there is less likelihood of a motorcycle slamming into a bus-load of children; bursting into flames and killing all occupants of both vehicles...

A reason they have crash testing is to make sure when you get into an accident that the engine doesn't come flying out of the car hitting another car. Then your tire falls off and hits another car causing more accidents. See where this could get ugly? thats why ;)

The reason for crash testing skylines in the usa is utterly retarded. The only reason the DOT and EPA doesn't like having crash test data from another country is becuase its not an "american" crash test, so it won't be good.

japan is so uncivilized that they would allow engines and tires to going flying all over the road murdering babies and stuff... come on

on a side note i heard that Motor-X is no longer in the business of crash testing non-USDM cars for use on US roads. In fact i heard they are out of business indefinately. I wonder whats the new business name gonna be? You all know or what?

They're out of business completely? News to me. The crash testing I thought they were never in the business of. I thought they contracted an independent lab for that, and that was only so they could make money importing Skylines.

Well, i dont know about that crash testing thing, but i heard that they are out of business from multiple people at the Falken Showoff event this passed saturday. 2 fellas i see around the area quite often who own a R32 each confirmed the story as well...

well I'll be sure and ask about that when I go to Mrex on Monday... But I'll venture a guess that the reports are incorrect since I just spoke to Hiro yesterday.
