She stopped for a guy in the cross walk, then looked at the rear-view mirror as the truck slammed into her, wiped out her passenger side corner, tail light and all. He cracked the frame on his plow frame, big deal. My question, when trying to bend plastic pieces back in place, so she can drive it until it's fixed, there was a plug type of object, behind a black plastic piece in the rear passenger wheel well. It was just hanging behind that black piece, I found out where it went, and snapped it back into place, it looked like a "sensor" of some type.Does anybody know what it is???ThanksBarry
BUMMER!!!! Any chance you could take a few pictures? Not that I would be able to help identify the item in question but someone may recognize it. Hopefully it will look as good as new when you get it back from the shop.

Damaged hatch, back window(tinted 20% over factory tint), bumper a little bit, cracked freshly installed spoiler and a little damage on a quarter. I got a brand new door that should be painted tomorrow, bumper will be fixed and new glass will be installed by insurance. Spoiler probably will go to trash.
Wow that really sucks! Sorry to hear of your misfortune. (both of you)
I've seen the pictures other members have posted showing the front and rear bumpers removed which helps visualize the construction / assembly. Any pictures you or Barry could take of the rebuilding process (before and after) might serve some purpose for other Rogue owners. If nothing else makes us feel even worse.
Not that it will make either of you feel any better but back in 1979 my Uncle just finished buying a brand new Cadillac Fleetwood. It only had 7 miles on the odometer. He was actually pulling out of the dealers lot when a guy ran a red light and T-Boned him, caving in both doors. Even worse… my uncle didn’t believe in auto insurance.
