Its that time where i gotta re-register my car....only thing is its had a sr20 blacktop in it for the past year and i live in san jose ca......yay!!! Just wondering if its still possible to find people who can smog peeps in my situation(illegal smog...ignorant, whatever i can get) New to cali so i really dont know how it works. Thx!

got any friends or relatives in norcal? If so change your address to there and you wont ever have to smog it again. Oh yeah, you probably think you are norcal, silly bay area people, I mean way north.

huh? didnt undastan the last one, but yea if u find someone who u can pay a little extra, they will pass u, its all about the hookups

Yeah just find some crooked dude to pay off and it should go without much of a hitch. Just be on the lookout on your next smog when the new dynotesting smog laws go into effect.

The dyno testing smog has been in effect for about 2 yrs now.

Whoa was that for northern california? I had heard about that for so. cal but wasn't sure. I think that was just recently passed (at least in SF) and not sure about San Jose although I should find out about SJ too since I'll be moving there soon enough.

It's for all cars that are eligible for smog. Not all smog shops have those dyno's yet...soon every shop will though.:D

The dyno smog is easier to pass than the stand still.

what's the deal with the dyno smog anyway? I've heard about it but don't know exactly what they do...
