So, I look at my car this morning and there is condensation in my passenger headlight.. I pop the hood to see if maybe a bulb came out or something and notice a good sized crack on just the top of the head light.. Is it possible to epoxy it up, or cover it with some type of adhesive? Do you guys need pics?

Possibly, but you'll need to air out and clean your headlight first.

Silicone is for boobies... duct tape is for cars :P.

Haha, yea just make sure they are dry when you use silicone/epoxy/gasket maker even. Pic something higher temp if you can, since it does heat up a little once the lights have been on for a bit.

So you guys are pretty confident that it wont allow water to come in, the crack is a good 6 inches or so.. I'll try tog et a pic before it gets too dark outside.

take the light out. set your oven to the lowest heat setting (200~250) and bake it for about 10-15 minutes until the glue gets gooey and you take the lens apart. Clean it out and clear silicon that bad boy up from the inside. back into the oven til the glue gets gooey again and put 'em back together.

not long enough to do so.

This is the method ppl use to retrofit hid projectors into their cars, or clear out headlamps (civics w/ orange markers) or black out the inside.

That would be the best way to do it.

The lazy man's way... take the headlamps out, let it dry indoors... seal it up, HAHA. And if you are more ambitious, take the bulb out, get a duster or something long, small, and manueverable and you can clean up most of it through the headlight bulb hole.

Headlights aren't typically a high strees spot, so I'm sure you'll be fine for a while.

I wonder what the Kouki headlights would look like if you blacked out the back..

I wouldn't ever want to black out head lights, they are perfect on my new car.
