Rb25det series 2 s14 swap - So seemingly out of nowhere my car started missing like crazy and searching for rpms as soon as I turn the car on. It definitely isn't getting enough spark because all of the plugs keep fouling and it runs like junk even with new plugs in. The person who swapped it did a pretty s*** wiring job on the harness for the ls coil conversion. Maybe buying a Wiring Specialties harness will fix it but I don't know much about that at all. I checked the Tps and set it to -.5 volts and also switched out the maf for one that is definitely working. i'm pretty new to this so if anybody could point me in the right direction that would be helpful. i'm doing research but not sure where to start on the car.

Is it just running really rich?
Have you looked for boost leaks?

I haven't used a tester yet but I will try and get ahold of one. But i'm not sure, if it is running really rich, or just not getting enough spark. I did test the intake with smoke but didn't see any leaks.

Really you'd be looking for leaks anywhere after the MAF. I'm assuming the MAF is on the suck side of the turbo, right?
If you think the spark is weak, you could check the input voltage to the coil(s). If its supposed to be at least 12v, you could try running a jumper wire from your battery over to that power wire to up the voltage to see if the problem goes away.

Yup check your battery voltage while the car is running. I had that happen to me many moons ago with my RB swapped S13. Alternator took a dump and the car ran off the battery till the voltage got too low. Also check your ECU for codes that might help you down the right path.
