appears the bottom of the strut tower is ripping away from the body.

Those fender aprons seem to rust out easily on S13s. If you can weld, I'd get some donor metal in there so it doesnt get any bigger.

If you can weld them on straight, fill it in. Otherwise, I would just be safe with a new shell. You never know if there is rust lurking in other places.

thats not a rust hole really, the body and frame are really rust free. not pictured, but you can see clean un rusted metal ripped on the other side. Thats a gap of about at least an inch, even if i fill it in, the body isnt technically "strait" anymore right?

This wasnt there at the beginning of the season, but the car saw track days and autocrosses almost every weekend this past summer...

You can attempt to make the hole straight. Just make sure the welds are solid. Mine ripped there too, but on both sides. Finally the front clip separated from the firewall while driving. So now I have a new shell.

well after looking again i found that there was some extra stress on this side because the height adjustment on the coilover came loose and the coilover was about an inch longer on this side than the other side..
