2011 M56 intermittently would not start. Had new battery. Strong cranking. Did not even try to start. Dealer had car 3 times. "Could not replicate" problem and returned. "Maybe" low pressure fuel pump that is inside gas tank. No guarantees. Cost about $900.00. Found references to sensor problem which dealer shot down. Bought sensor from different dealer online for about $100.00. . 20 minute job in my garage. Noticed plug in line very tight . Same problem again. Duct taped line to take pressure off plug. Problem seems gone.
Now need to work on XM radio reception. New part number for XM antenna. Seems like they had many complaints. Planning on having interior shop loosen rear headliner to replace.
Any ideas on cost?

Assuming that the antenna has to be removed from inside the car, it's mostly two things. The cost of the new antenna (which you can buy at Infiniti Parts Online) and the labor costs to have someone dismantle the interior. The headliner is pretty involved - removing the side trim interior pieces (B-pillars, C pillars, etc). And if your car has the factory TV screen that lowers from the roof, even more labor. When I had an issue with my headliner, they charged me an extra $150 for the bit involving the TV screen.
I'm wondering if a headliner shop might do the trim removal cheaper than a body shop?
