A quick question for you OBD2 S14 guys. Remember please only respond if you have experience or really know. I'm getting different answers from my research I've done.
Do you need to run the Crank angle position sensor found on the S14 transmission bell housing? I got a S14 and running full OBD2 setup but the transmission is a S13 transmission so I don't have a plug to plug the crank sensor in.
Does anyone know if this will be an issue. I'm having some issue right now and tried many things but my car runs like crap. Maf, dizzy, plugs, and wires have all been swapped out but still no luck.
Here are the symptoms:
Has hard time idle, especially when it's not warmed up completelyMisfires or bogs when you give it some gasDrives very poor and will have to feather in the gas on a rolling startWhen I unplug the MAF sensor it idles better and I"m able to rev it conistantly but only up to 2500.when I plug it back on it seems worse like the above symptoms but just able to rev high.
