I'm having the hardest time trying to find this sensor. I know what it looks like, but just can't find it.

I've googled and it appears most of all the results are for the pathfinder which the sensor is located behind the passenger wheel well once you take off that panel, is this the same for my QX4 ??

The black and white drawing pic I got from google does not help at all, I can't tell which sides of the transmission its on or anything, it's not easy to see either.

If anyone can please link actual photos or a series of photos to get to it, that would be awesome please.

And one more thing, do I need to do the relearn process for this older model?

If so what is that process, seems to be non existent on google search, or is it just easier for the dealer to do it? Any idea on costs for a dealer or mech to do it?. Thanks

Is the diagram you're referring to the same on that's on page EC-277 of the factory service manual?

There are no relearn processes for your vehicle.

yes, that's the same picture im referring to.

It doesn't really help me though, I don't know if that's looking on top under the hood or under the car??

That's why if anyone has pictures, please post them. I need to go back and look for this thing, i have to be at work in 3hrs and i have not solved my starting issue at all (check my other post for those details).

That is from looking underneath the car, laying directly under the transmission bellhousing with your head facing the front of the vehicle.

I will try to search for a proper photo. I can't take one since I have the VQ35DE engine while you have the VG33E; the sensors are in different locations.

Don't know if this video will help:

It's for a 2000 Frontier but on your QX4 it's in the same location.

Ok, that's crazy cause I was in that exact same location when looking for it. It's honestly like he said in the video, it's a b**** to get to.

Ill check it out tonight, if not first thing in the morning. That plate might be a major issue since it has to be there, but I'll do my best.

Thanks for the video!

I just really hope this solves my no starting issue though.
