then i went and changed my distributor following the tutorial set it at top dead center and pointing rotor at #1 cylinder still no luck it'll crank but wont start....... so i tried setting the timing again two more times after that still no luck evn after i used some jumper cables to get more juice from the battery still nada........ changed spark plugs, spark plug wires, the distributor came off a running s13 cleaned my IACV im pretty sure im getting gas becasue i disconnected the line after the fuel filter and turned the ignition to ACC and fuel squirted out, im getting some spark too i disconnected every wire while cranking and grounded it im getting blue spark, uhmm i don't know what else to look for after that i checked the ECU for more codes and im getting 55 everything is OK!>!<?>?< o_0 HELP ANYBODY

It's possible that you have it set 180* off. Did you make sure that it was on the compression stroke when you were doing it?

quick and easy way is to pull a spark plug and when it's on a compression stroke you'll be able to feel some air coming out of the hole. Otherwise, you can pull the valve cover and look at the way the cams lobes are facing (I believe that facing away from each other is compression but I'm not positive)
