crank sensor replacement for a 1998 nissan pathfinder

i have a 98 nissan pathfinder. hesitating 3 quick times/bucking around 35 mph ~ once its heated up ~ about 10 miles of driving (when i let it sit for 2 hrs, it can go again for about 10 miles before the bucking starts) . tacometer jumps around 2. NIssan North diagnosed evap valve and canister. $350 later, problem exists. then they say the crank sensor code came up. i got the Haynes manual and it seems to be related. anyone ever have this problem? any suggestions?knock sensor code also came up

Do you mean the crank position sensor? You can get one for about $35-50.

For the knock sensor I found one for $25, not sure why it is so cheap compared to other brands though.
