crank sensor for 03 sentra se-r?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

i couldnt find a post on this. well my car been had a problem with cranking my car up. and after the accident to my driver-side rear of my car and changing a new transmission since the old one doesnt work anymore. my car does not start up but it will crank but not turn over.

could it be that something is wrong with my crank? or the crank sensor? cuz i dont know, my sister did got it replace a few years ago, but the crank still have problem; had to crank it twice or more for it to start but now it doesnt crank up.

also does anyone have a diagram for the pnp switch for the transmission. we put a new transmission in but we not sure if the pnp switch is properly in place. and do anyone know where the pnp terminal is located?

I suggest you check the battery and starter first.

Grab the FSM from the link in my sig for the switch.

CAS could be bad, but it doesn't typically present with that kind of symptom. Start by checking fuel and spark.

Well I gotten the problem fixed awhile back I forgot when. It turn out that the crank angle sensor and crank sensor were both bad and had to be replaced.

The crank angle position sensors are known culprits on the QR.
