I have an F50 in my bay now that has a 19mm I think the older ones are the same or a 22mm (most likely I will go explore to verify). You need to be very carefull when removing the 16 yo crank pulley so as not to break it.

Why are you removing it?

Most stress on the timing chain is at initial start.

Get zip ties and read the threads in IOM. Tensioners are best replaced also, and verify that all the guide is removed.

Ooooos! You are drowning!

Zip ties to hodl the timing chains.

You have to do a lot of reading not to fubar the job. Losing timing or leaving guide material in the sump and not replacing the tensioners are the main killers of engines with new guides.

well the timing on the driver side was already lost the pass is still intact, can you put a link in to a thred that tells me how to retime the driver side. and how are zip ties going to keep the cams frome turning?

True it's not a real easy job to do in the driveway. It sucks to do in a bay in a shop I would not want to see how fun it would be anyother way.

Search on "timing chain guides" in IOM in post bodies and archived content. Several threads.
