crank pully

I was trying to take mine off last night had had same problem as other people mention on other thread about not coming off. Final found a kit which did it but not after i had screw drivers, bars etc in there trying to leaver it out.I have ran into a problem, which mit have occur doing this when i was replacing water pump on my gts-t rb20det.

But once i turned on the engine, it was making a clicking sounds pretty deep in volume. the car was i little bit over heated when water pump failed etc but nothing off the chart. And i cant remember it making that sound when i drove it 2km back to my house or when it first blew.

so i not sure if i damage the crank while getting pulley off or something like a bearing is damaged

Any ideas
