Ok, got the chain guide kit from Joe. I've removed everything to get to the crank pully as per instructions. Now I've spent the last 2 days trying to get a puller to get the crank pully off. Can someone please tell me what type of puller I need to remove the crank pulley. I then need to know what sort of tool I will need to hold the pulley in place while I tension the pulley nut up to 270 lbs/sq/in.

Tangalora's thread gives lots of great info.

Use an old belt to protect and grip the ribs when using the chain wrench.

Position the crank pulley puller with the jaws on the inside lip of the alternator belt area, you'll see the trough between the two belt channels- the lip there is thicker- I would re-position it a few times as you wrench it. The lips are brittle and will break if you are not careful.

Good luck,Paul
