Has anyone heard about the lightweight crank pulley being offered by Zero Point industries?

135 bones...is it worth it?

Bob, can you give some feedback on this one?

Yes, we have heard of it. You wont get 30+HP out of it all it dose is make the engine work less to turn the crank pully so it really 'frees up' HP. Don't expect more then ~1-2 HP more. And it most likely void your warranty. IMO dont buy it.

Can we get an official word as to whether this voids the warranty also is a Mass air flow sensor offered?

ask Shreqboi, he knows someone that works in service and decides if something will void warranty or not.

I talked with my brother at Nissan and he said that yes it will void the warranty. The only thing it does really is allow you to drop RPM's faster

Pulley kits are usually worth it. It may in fact give you a 30 HP increase. This may not be peak HP though so you may only see a couple HP increase overall. It's the same deal with intakes and exhausts. They advertise 10, 20 30 HP increases which technically may be true. It's just that it's not peak HP it will increase it more in other RPM's. These will always void your warranty due to the harmonic balancing. Whether internal or an external weight, the fact that it has been altered will definitely void the warranty. On the other hand, they have to prove the new part was the cause of the problem.

Most pulley kits include a smaller diameter crank pulley and larger diameter accessory pulleys. This slows the speed of the serpentine belt. As the engine driven accessories (A/C, power steering, alternator) are spinning slower, they have a lower parasitic drag and thus use less HP to turn. T

he ZPI kit is a single pulley with the stock diameter. I sincerely doubt you'd be able to tell the difference.

If you have a 6 speed like I do you can tell a big difference in the car. The over rev is still there a little tiny bit, but not as much as it was.

I did a Nisssan Versa with just that and the ZPI exhaust and really noticed HUGE performance gains over then stock. Bottom line, I don't need to BS because I personally noticed the difference from stock to Crank pulley and exhaust (not intake) and you will too. For 135 bucks, that isn't ****. You don't even need an intake and can install in like 5 minutes.
