Crank Pulley

OK i had a mechanic change my crankshaft seal because it was leakin oil... so when he took off the crank pulley there was a small crack in it.... so he got a used one and right after he installed it, it cracked too! what do u think the problem is? something with the motor or two bad crank pulley???

how is he torquing it down, its pretty hard to use a torque wrench, so many times people just use an impact wrench to do it, which is fine in most circumstances, but you need to have a good feel for the wrench so you dont over or under do it.

Thanks for the information.... We are gonna try another one.. if this one cracks i was thinkin bout gettin a lightweight one, does any one have any good information on these???
