Hey all,

Well I'm rebuilding my NA engine at the moment and my stock crank pulley is pretty rusted and a few chunks broke off where the belts go. So I bought a good used one off a guy on TT.net. When I got it today I noticed that it's actually larger than my crank pulley. The center where it goes onto the crank is exactly the same, but it's wider than mine. I'll have to take a side by side picture and post it, but does anyone know if they changed the size of the crank pulleys at all during production years?

Thanks

You sir are right, I think. After a little more digging it seems that the TT one did have a slightly larger crank pulley/dampener than the NA. The only difference besides the size is that the frontmost part for the PS belt has 3 ribs on the NA pulley and 4 ribs on the TT pulley. Supposedly this won't affect anything, you just won't use that extra rib.

Thanks!
