Crank pulley removal

My SR is on a engine stand and I can't get the crank shaft bolt off. I borrowed a 1/2 impact from my neighbor and it's electric and is a sissy. Is there anyway to stop the crank from turning when the flywheel side is taken up by the engine stand? I can't find answers here or on AZ240sx.org.
