I'm struggling getting this crankshaft bolt off. I was able to wedge the pulley and keep it from moving while i had a breaker bar on the bolt but no budge. I even had my foot on the bar with most of my body weight and still nothing.
I saw a glance of an old post of someone saying they cranked the engine to take off the bolt. i assume it was a reeeeally long breaker bar? i didn't see how they actually did it. I don't have an air impact either not that it seems it would even help with this. What do most people do?

I did see a guy using a cut belt and wrapping it around a few pulleys where it tightened itself as you turned the pulley but his breaker bar was also like 10 ft long.. Would torching it help? i have a new seal for it

Pull any convenient spark plug, stuff some rope down the hole, then turn the engine counterclockwise till the rope stops the piston. Then use as much torque as you need to, the crank won't go anywhere.

Well i ended up trying the belt method since i was pretty certain the rope i had wouldn't fit. Took a few trys but it cracked a little each try.

Sooo now, i have pretty much everything off but one little issue. The two smaller bolts (not sure why they aren't all 10mm) are rusted and one of them is stripped. Not sure how i'm going to remove them. the stripped one was about an 8, and i believe the other one is a 9 but i couldn't find my smaller extension. hope i don't have to cut off the head and drill it out
