Crank Bolt Size on KA24E?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I'm workin on a KA24E and am trying to find the size for the crank/gland bolt; my biggest socket was a 24mm and it was a good bit too small!

How big is that bolt?

27mm if i remember correctly... torque that sucker to 150 ft lbs when you put it back on! breaker bar only, your rachets will snap like twigs

ka is 27mmsr is 26mm i think...

I just torqued my crank bolt up, the book said to torque it to around 120 ft lbs... would hate to have the crank bolt break or stripe.

SR and KA are both 27mm
