crank angle sensor

how do I check my plug from my crank sensor(in the dist) at the distributer side top left pin is hot

wouldnt that be a cam angle sensor?

I assume youre talking about a KA, it would help if you posted more info on the engine and year and stuff.

Ive never d!ck with one. Whats a distributor?

yes what is this distributor thingamajigbob that you speak of. my sr nor does my vh45 have one.
