Hey, the other day while my CA18det was running my crank angle sensor plug came loose and my engine died out. my engine started up fine after that(despite the fact that while driving my intake piping had come loose and I had to drive home for about 5 minutes before being able to fix it). It ran fine and idled ok. this morning I tried to fire up my motor and when it started it ran pretty rough. Would having the CAS plug come undone offset my timing? Any other ideas? Thanks.

you might wanna post this in CA forum. But it shouldnt effect timing at all. it was probably flooded. clean the plugs and make sure all is hooked up properly on your intake and take it for a good run.

it should not be an issue. if the hole is not there then you can just make a hole for it. the important one is in the distributor anyway.

you are asking about the crank sensor that goes in the bellhousing right? i dont actually remember what years have them and what years dont. if you need one but dont have it then just line the trans up side by side and drill an identical hole in the new trans. it wont matter very much. i think that sensor is just for misfire detection(think so).
