Crank 2 seconds then shutdown .sending out SOS

Oldpopdaddy here have 87 d21 have z24 with 8 plugs fuel injection.having problem.truck crank then immediately shutdown.checked fuel pressure 38psi during crank , steady. Then sprayed starter fluid no start to check injections. No difference.checked vacuum lines no major leak yet. Checking wring now. Does anyone have any idea , where else I should go. Has this happened before to anyone. P/s when cranked there was hi idle but cold outside drove 2blocks truck shutdown. No start

Oldpopdaddy here. Check the distributor and want to replace wires, rotor, cap does it matter which coil on fender wall goes that the wires go to? There are 2 that I presume go to middle of cap??
