Do people really still buy into these things? I would think after so many years, people would know about these things and the scammers would either change their tactics or stop completely.

When I sell something on craigslist, I list it on wed and sat until sold. Everytime I list something over $100 I get these stupid general requests from the scammers never referring to the specific item, but to the 'advert'.Must have a program that scans the listings and shoots off automatic emails.....probably takes very little effort on their part to do it, just have to keep using disposable emails. .....scammer

Good to know about the scammers. I'm going to post my Subaru for sale on Craig's list soon. It's nice to have a heads up on what typically happens.
