Call them man, see what their all about. Get you a Z!

Don't by any means forward money to them, give them your living address, credit card, banking info... ect ect ect

^^^ I imagine you already know all that but i just want to double check.
Oh trust me. I would kill for that Z.. but I'm a little short on cash right now.

I looked at getting a early 2000s carrera some time ago, what I came across is that they have been having a lot of problems with the main seals going causing oil starvation and all the fun that comes along with that, its a good price for the car (even though I don't believe its AWD) but even if you had the money I'd say be weary of any watercooled Porsche. They just don't make em like they used to.

oh i had different plans for it. it would most like not be keeping the original motor as im a big fan of hybrid swaps.

some company swaps ls series motors into those bishez, keeping the awd!

id revolutionize it by using a supercharged vh45de, vg30dett, sti motor, or something crazy. i think using a twin turbo rotary would be the most cost effective, though it'd be slightly underpowered until ported and upgrading the turbos.

These new Porsche engines are so robust its almost a shame to swap em even the NAs. I've seen a LS1 powered old school 911 in person, thing was definitely a beast. The beauty of Porsche though is the way they balance the weight distribution (even though its not truly balanced) it works and swapping them usually gives you an a** heavy straight line beast with absolutely no ability to take turns. Of all the engines you mentioned only the STI (EJ257) and rotary would weight less than the stock engine and it wouldn't be worth it unless you want with a 3-rotor 20B but those are hard to come by in good condition and very very expensive. I agree building things with your own hands and transplanting is awesome even if its just to say that you did it but I take a more utilitarian view on things like this.

OH also if you look at the last picture and see that little yellow tag on the key ring that is exactly what iaa uses every car that goes through them will have that (if the key is present) (even tho I imagine alot of dealers use it too hah but still)

It doesn't really look wrecked to me (i mean i guess it was fixorzed) engine bay still looks like s*** though. I wouldn't buy that thing just based on what it looks like under the hood.

I know it doesn't looked wrecked but thats how it looked at the auction. It is wrecked and the ppl who bought it still they didnt fix it haha it was obviously a slow speed wreck proabably like at a redlight or something the wreck only hurt the rear bumper cover and proabably only needs paint. It appears just like the paint has chipped over the years well what actually happened is when the rear bumper cover bent from the collison it caused the paint to chip and break.... So yea. Basically it only needs new paint on the rear bumper and a good cleaning.. At the most a new rear bumper cover.. (if you want to make it interesting 5spd conversion)

But yea I agree with you anton I wouldn't buy it to drive because that engine bay looks very dirty which makes me nervous... I was going to buy it to turn around and resell it (like I said in an earlier post)...
