So today, I turn the car on and hear the squeal of a belt. Funny since they were replaced not that long ago. Upon opening the hood and inspecting the belts, I noticed the crankshaft pulley was wobbling when moving. Looks like it seperated at the rubber. Not a big deal, seen it before on many 4g63s.

Question is this: I cant find a pulley for cheap. This car is not anything special so a $200 lightweight pulley is not worth it for me.

Looking online I saw one by OBX. I want to know if that is a good enough pulley for OEM use. Is this model going to use a new/different belt model as well?

I personally have no experience with the OBX. I would check http://www.car-parts.com. If you can't find one, let me know. I have my OEM pulley.

I didnt think of that! Dumb moment cause I got a transmission for a Sunfire from there. Sent for quotes for the two in the area.

What are you willing to part with yours for?

I hadn't really thought about it. $50 + shipping maybe.

maxhopper,Looks like I am in dyer need of that pulley. Do you still want to sell it for 50? If so, can it get shipped ASAP to Columbus, Oh. Mine just totally bit the dust and I now have a dead car until I can get one (noone in the cbus area has one).
