Crackle Crackle pop every time I turn a corner.

Any ideas, I did a search and theres like 10 pages of stuff that did'int fit the crateria. Any ideas? It pops and crackles and it's not the spring.

You may want to check these areas:

- power steering system- wheel bearings

any specific places it makes the sounds from? there are a bunch of suspension arms and rods down there that could cause problems as well.

Yea, it only does it on the front passanger side. It sounds like knuckles grinding together.

check if there are any rice crispies in the vehicle.

it is almost certainly the bearing on the top of the strut assembly. It is supposed to allow the strut to rotate freely when you turn the steering wheel. Imagine the sound with a shot bearing.

try jacking up the car by the front control arms so that the strut bushing is loaded, then with the steering unlocked turn the turn the wheel(not the steering wheel) gently and feel for resistance...It should move smoothly with even resistance.
