Has anyone had to have theirs replaced yet? Prices?

Luckily it is on the passanger side going up so I don't have to fix it. I have one in my xterra that is 2 years old, so I hope the Nissan OEM glass installed in the Versa is as good as the Xterra.

Shame since it is as clear as the day I bought it.

No I ahven't had to replace or price one yet but, FYI since you do live Colorado, If the crack is in the path of the wiper blade you need to get it fixed pretty quick. Just more incentive for an officer to stop you.

When did they change that? In the DOT regs it says if it is the drivers line of sight, it is a violation. I can't think of hardly any cracks that would be allowed based on what you said. This crack is not a safety hazard since if I look at it is see the edge of the hood behind it, so it is not imparing my vision, even though the wiper goes over it. The same with my Xterra, if I look at it all I see behind it is hood.

But I drive to slow, saving gas, to get pulled over unless that cop wants to be a d!ck. And isn't it a secondary offence?

Im sure all officers will give you a warning the first time, but when they give you a warning it is entered into our system. that way the next time you are pulled over for the same thing they will know. and it states in our manuals if it is in the path of the wiper blade then it should be replaced.

And also, All officers look for probable cause to stop you for anything!(including cracked windows and expired tags) because we don't know if there is a person with a warrant driving the vehicle. Just FYI again.
