cracked wheel

my zed is out of commision for a little bit. the inside of my wheel has a crack in it that is leaking air. that last owner told me that the wheel isn't completely round because he hit a pothole. i guess the wheel finally gave and just cracked. hopefully i can get it to a wheel shop today.

I had a set of 18's on a Jetta that had the same problem. I took it to a place and had it welded since the crack was on the inside. It worked for a while till I hit another pothole. Then I had to get a new wheel.

Yeah it was a pretty good car. The outside was clean as hell and looked pretty pimp.It was the slow 2.0L so I was about to drop a few grand on a custom turbo kit. Then I got smart and sold it and got a 02 SE-R Spec V!

talked to the wheels store yesterday, the won't be done until monday or tuesday and it will cost me $65. now, some people have said it is not safe to drive on repaired wheels and some others have said it is alright, what do you guys think? the crack is on the inside lip of the wheel.

I think you'll be ok for a little bit. I'd say buy a new wheel eventually if you can.

yeah, i am probably going to save up to buy the Blitz 03 wheels, 17x9 front and 17x10 rear. i love the look of them.
