After sanding down the wheels and priming them I discovered this.

My question is can I take it to a welding shop and get it fixed? Also if I just leave it and mount tires will it crack further? Thanks

I would actually take it to an actual wheel repair shop if it was me. They have the experience to tell you if it is a good idea to repair it or not. But that's just what i would do.
