I was cleaning my TB today and noticed a fairly long and relatively deep gash/crack toward the right inner cylinder part of the TB, right where the TB flap sits... I haven't noticed any poor performance from my car, but I know it can't be good for it...should I just go ahead and get another throttle body? I'd love to have an excuse to get a new one/bore it out!!Go to the website and it's the first picture...sorry I can't post it here, it's too big and I don't have the software to resize it...if my bandwidth gets used up, can someone host it for me? Nope, not good. Does the idle hunt at all? Seems like it would. Depends how much you can get another one for, but if you can't find a deal, I would lay a piece of masking tape flat on the inside of the bore, and then bond JB weld or even a thin ply of aluminum sheet (.005-.010"?) to the outside. Clean the surfaces first though to make sure both the tape and the epoxy stick well. Remove the tape after the bond dries. Nice valve cover paint job BTW.
