Cracked strut tower

It's been like that since I got the car, I didnt notice it at the time because the side panels in the trunk covered it.

We've re-welded it once before, and we're gonna reweld/reinforce it again soon, and put a crossmember between them, which will help stiffen the chassis too.

Am I the only bastard with an S13 thats got this problem?

I talked to Clay at Motorex a bit today, and he said he's seen it before, but I dunno, it kinda bothers me =/

Talked w/ superlocal tech support, he sez that you're fooked, get another car. Sorry, but something like that being broke just isn't fixable. YOU CAN HAVE TEMPORARY FIXES, but that is all they will be. There is no permanent fix, read the car it's last rites, it has had a good life, let it rest in peace. Hate it for ya, but good luck finding a replacement for cheap you can move your mods to.

I know its on its last... its all good, I can keep her running until I get a better job ;)

Once I do, I'll be able to take out a loan and get something better <3

I ahev heard ans seen this happened before on a S13 chasis but on the front, never on the rear!!How is the current aligment right now?

The alignment is great, actually, the handling isnt effected whatsoever! its weird =\
