…if a screen is what one can call it? But dammit, I went to pick up my phone from the passenger seat, and it slipped out my hands somehow and landed on the plastic and cracked it. Since my phone has a drop protector case, it survived but cracked the case for the shift lever. Fortunately it’s on the right side not on the letters and the bulb didn’t blow.

But now I’m pissed because it’s so hard finding replacement anything in the Midwest for this one. However, I tried some time ago to take the shift lever off a salvage car with the heated seat option, since my replacement seats are from one with the heated option. However I remember being unable to figure out how to get it off. The shift knob leather part will come loose, but it won’t come off enough to slide the shift console out. From what I guess, the whole console with the shift lever needs to come out together?

Probably just going to end up E6000 or super gluing the crack together, but I don’t know if it’ll disappear. Wish I could find a “trim cover” to go over it. May look around for that as well

Looking at the FSM, it appears the shifter bezel is linked at the back with the card pocket (2 screws), which has to be removed before the bezel will come out. You also usually need to have the shifter in N or D to get a shifter bezel loose from the console, that's true on almost all cars.

Just getting back to this, but yeah I see a diagram that looks like it should just unscrew loose. But I remember it was something that I could not separate the shift lever at all. It was loose and moving, but it wouldn’t come off. At that point, I’d already had the display off and could see thru to the ground. Here’s the diagram below:
