Cracked manifold repair- is it a big project?

I'm thinking about buying a 94 with a cracked exaust manifold (both sides)It's a bargain at $1,000 but if it's a pain to fix I'd rather not take on a big project right now.Anybody who's done this, I'd sure like to hear from you!

It was way more than I wanted to do. I had my shop do it and they charged $486 for one side, parts (used) and labor.

You will love your car all over again once you get it done. It will purr like a kitten again.

Hmm, well I'm no mechanic and don't need a fixer taking up room in my garage. For not much more than having the both sides done there's a j30T for sale near me, I've always wanted to give the touring model a try
