i ordered my body kit and somehow i overlooked a crack in my side skirt!!! its not too bad i guess, but i've been told i need to drill a hole at the ends of the cracks so the split does not continue. is this correct or can i have the shop just bondo and sand. i'm sure they have a good idea what to do, but since the paint job is a hook, i want to make sure i tell him what i want done.

wut about the whole drilling? i hear its so the crack doesnt continue and split my sides over time?

another question while i'm at it, should the whole kit by bondoed down then sanded to create an even smoother surface? or is primer and sanding enough. i've seen some painted kits and they look a little wavy. i really don't want that look.

just make sure the skirt is on secure and fill it and sand it. drilling fiberglass isnt the easiest thing to do and will prolly crack even more in the process. i had to crack mine on purpose to get it to fit properly on my old car and then just fiberglassed the crack back closed and it worked out fine.
