Just thought you guys and girls might like to see it.

I just finished this last week for a customers fwd car with the only difference being the thermostat housing being on the same end as the throttle body if it were rwd.

As you can tell everything is made from scratch...and by hand. Its suited to this particular customers engine setup (eg cams, torque, power etc etc) also with fuel rail to suit 14mm oring injectors, 80mm billet throttle body and a nice polish.

Enjoy,Ariel

It looks nice, Ariel. Custom runners replacing the butterfly valve housing? Nice. Sounds like a pretty mean build and a nice intake manifold to boot. Excellent job, man. Minus the T-body, what did this piece cost him? Just curious..........

Thanks Dee - yes its a complete replacement. say goodbye to those power robbing butterflies Looking at around $AU1300-1500 without the throttle body. All depending on whether or not its polished and with or without a fuel rail

Here is an internal shot. Not the best shot but you get the idea. All the bellmouths are blended into each other an absolutely massive job, having said that, the complete intake manifold/plenum was.

I am curious why you didn't center the injectors or use 8 of them...

with current exchange rates, australian dollar down approx 30%, you would be looking at $US480 + delivery for the standard runner version and from $US840 + delivery for the complete custom unit
