CP piston buyers!

To those of you who interested in purchasing and installing CP pistons, be very careful when installing them. I broke a compression ring while trying to put the pistons into the block last night which is going to cost me a 100+mile trip to race engeering to get some more. It sucks, but I'm used to paying the price for something I want. That's my tip for the day..........

Have you had the same problem with the Wiseco pistons? I wanna get pistons, but im not sure if I want wiseco or the CP ones.

Wiseco units seems to have a more durable ring. The Cp piston is a handsome unit, though.

Well like I was saying ill probably end up with Wiseco. Now I just have to find out how I can order just 4 of them.

race engineering is now out of stock on CA18det pistons as of 3pm tuesday lol... they can how ever make more. now would be a great time to hit them up with a group buy. ill let you guys do the price wars i paid around 530 for mine.

i was planning on buying the race engineering pistons as well and would also participate in a group buy if one gets going.

I took my eyes off what I was doing and started forcing the pistons into the motor not realizing that the ring compressor was not seated. But I have new rings now and am now waiting on the tomei valve springs to get here.

well orderd tuesday , and its 1pm thursday and i got some new pistons!!!!! out to go snap some pictures run over to nissan order another couple hundred worth of crap then to the machine shop to drop these ******es off.
