covered under warranty?

would anyone happen to know if a cracked headlight housing is covered under warranty? it's not the lens itself, but inside the actually housing (silver part). i don't know how it got cracked, but just noticed it the other day...any feedback would be appreciated. thanks!roland

It would have to be determined that it was a result of a defect within the car and not an outside force.

thanks...i have no idea how it happened...i bought it used and only have had it for over a month. i noticed it after the first time i washed it...i know they are expensive to replace ($500+).
