Cover for compact flash slot

Howdy,

I'm looking for a cover for the Compact Flash slot on my M35x. All the online parts sites I've found use the same diagram for the instrument panel, which does not show the CF slot or cover.



Any thoughts on where I can find this part?

Yeah they are easy to lose. The first time I used the slot my cover fell off and it took me a couple of days to find it. I wish Infiniti found a method to put a card in and cover on.

Did you ever figure out where to find one of those compact flash covers for the CF slot? I just picked up a g35x and it was missing it's CF slot cover. I couldn't seem to find much info online...and I'm not located near any convenient dealers... any tips? Thanks!

I've had no luck.

What I've done is to keep a CF card in the slot, so it's not just an empty hole. It doesn't look like the cover would fit over the card anyway, so it doesn't look I'm missing something. I just have the cover off because there's a card in the slot.

As for locating a cover. I don't know. Maybe scout out Infinitis at used car lots near-by and swipe one out of a test drive?

LOL. Or get one from a loaner when you take yours in for service....

How come no one has mentioned talking to Jeff or Joe or whatever his name is at IOS / InfinitiPartsUSA.com or whatever? Seems like they could sell you one, they're supposed to be extra knowledgeable AND they're in the parts department.
