Why would you need a coupon code?

Hit up one of our OEM part sponsors and get a bigger discount with no code required.

Your original post was up for less than an hour when you posted this witty remark.

If Courtesy did actually have a coupon and someone on here had it your odds of getting the code dropped to below zero. Well done!

Maybe you should have specified in your original post that you searched and that you were from canada that is why you want to buy from them.

Dude.

I'm sorry you're not getting the answer you looked for, but I just spoke with one of our OEM parts suppliers personally, and he said two things:

1) If Courtesy has it, we have it - We're one of their distribution hubs.2) We ship to Canada every day.

If you're dead-set on buying from them, that's fine. But you can't expect us to support a company that doesn't care enough about the Nissan community to support the forums.

Again, sorry we couldn't give you the answer you were looking for. Hope you'll understand.

It was sarcasm, sometimes it translate well and your post might not have either. The all caps "obviously" you entered came off (to me, and apparently to Snowboarder as well) with an alienating air of superiority. It had the sound of "I'm right and you're wrong"

Don't alienate the people that might actually be able to help you out. That's all.

All that aside, what are you working on? For $900 I hope its something fun.

I have a question act ually while we are on this subject...

Who do I email for info on discounts anyway?

I'm looking at Infiniti Parts USA and their MSRP price for a replacement front strut for a '92 Maxima is $348.36, and "my price" is $265.63.

I assume this is for OEM replacement. This seems outrageous to me considering I can buy a performace tokico front shock for 105.00 A PIECE. And I know your thinking "sure but they rape you in shipping costs"...but no...shipping for two struts would be 15 dollars more.

That is 235.00 dollars for BOTH front struts...that is cheaper than one from IPU.

I'm not trying to bash them or you Greg, I just wanna figure out how they are so damn expensive.

Can you shed some light on this?

Right and wrong.

Keep in mind, those "OEM" shocks are Tokicos.

However, as was the case with the G50 Tokicos, the ones the dealer sells (Tokico Black) are actually a "lesser-grade" part than the Tokico Blues you could buy for less than alf the price.

Dealer markup is primarily to blame.

W O T might be FAR better off getting those parts from an aftermarket supplier. None of the parts he mentions are "dealer-only".

Ya I dont mean a sponsor to buy it for me lol.

I may have found cheaper. But the site is confusing, if anyone can help me. Im trying to search this website

http://www.trademotion.com/par...id=49

And I can find the Maxima MAF no problem. but when you type in the VTC sensor part # 23731-2Y52A for a 2001 QX4, like 30 different sensors come up. I dont understand which one I need. Can anyone show me which I need from that list.

Thanks guys

Ok so here is my question (I know...this isn't my thread...but it pertains...besides...last one...I promise!!)

Is there a sponsor here that sells stock aftermarket parts?

... like an Autozone? I'm sure some of these sites do:http://www.nicoclub.com/subpages/addirectory.shtml

Nissanparts.org

Midway nissan

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com

http://www.partsgeek.com/

I can't immagine many websites stocking stock aftermarket parts... it would be tough to compete with an autozone type place that offers warranty and no shipping/lead time.

Well of course Autozone...I just ment looking for a sponser of NICO's to order from (like those other places you mention).

I have my own place I order from that only pretty much carries Maxima parts, very reliable and I've actually gotten stuff cheaper there plus shipping than from Autozone in stock

the intake valve timing sensor is 23731-2y52a, they are interchangable per side, and Nissan made them interchangable between vehicles, they also dropped the price ALOT because iof the issues, they SHOULD only be 23 dollars at your local dealerhip.
