So I am looking to buy a new driver side headlamp assembly from Nissan for my 97 240sx. I went to my local dealer that I always order parts through to get a price on a headlight. Previous to this visit I looked on the Courtesy Nissan website and the price was around 200-240 ish. When I asked at my local dealer here in FL he said it was like 340. I then told him that I usually check courtesy because they have the exploded diagrams and it gives me a rough idea of price (and its usually close to my local dealer's price). Anyways when I told him this he said that some Nissan dealers sell non-Nissan parts as Nissan parts and that it wasn't possible that it was that cheap because he had to pay more than that for the dealership to buy it before markup. He said that Nissan was investigating some of these dealerships. SO, my question is has anyone ever had and issue of getting non-Nissan parts from courtesynissan.com or any other LEGIT Nissan dealership?

I've bought headlights from West Covia Nissan...its thenismoshop.com. They came in and were in great shape. Just make sure which ones you get. With the 97-98 240sx's there is a JDM and a USDM version. The do look different so make sure you get the right one.

As for courtesyparts.com (Nissan) I've only bought oil filters with them, but things went smoothly and were shipped quick. I don't think they'll do you wrong.

I have heard nothing but good things from CN. I think I've used them before.

When I broke my headlights in an accident I couldn't find anything cheaper than 350 (for both). The are legit headlights with projectors

^ whats the difference?

I always buy factory parts from Courtesy Nissan unless I need it ASAP.everything I've bought from them has been factory Nissan stuff, no problems there.
