Court Question

Well I got a ticket for a wreck the other day, I had a question. The cop said if I bring a paper to court showing that his damages are paid for he said the ticket would be dropped. But my question is if I go to court and show the paper would I have to pay court costs though? None of my friends know and I tried calling court but couldnt find an exact answer

so Im sure one of you guys and gals could answer it for me?


Andddddd I ordered the isis auto to manual clutch line got it in the mail the other day and it was great quailty buttt it looks a little short im out of town right now to try it out but has anyone else used this? is it supposed to be short as it is?

haha well I live in Mooresville, NC and we were going like 5 miles an hour and some girl slammed on her brakes and I ran in to the back of her. my hood and s*** was garbage but I fixed it all but her rear bumper was 1800 bucks beecause its an 07.

if you were obeying the laws i don't see how they can give you a ticket..idk about NC but i believe in CA if you rear end someone it's always your fault, even if they brake check you.

If its dropped I dont think you pay anything, at least thats what happened to me. I live in VA. The only time I had to pay a court fee was when I went fishing and kept a fish that was below the legal size

As far as I know in ks its always your fault if you rear end someone. If your taking it into a court case then you pay court cost win or lose. As far paying for damages that should've gone to insurance, so I'm a little confused on how you can get out of a ticket.

yea i was confused when he said it to me but he said "If you take the paper showing you payed for damages to the other persons car they will drop the ticket and it wont hurt your insurance as much" idk I guess thats how NC works

Just be on the safe side and have money for the court fees anyway. If you dont have to pay for it then go have some lunch at at Ihop or Ruby Tuesdays or something
