Hmm..i don't know about the home dyno.."it SOUNDS like 168hp" ?

It's just using a sound file to record the data from the inductive pickup. It would probably be about as accurate as something like the Beltronics performance computer, although I think that uses an accelerometer also...in which case the "home dyno" loses some points.

I would actually be willing to give the home dyno thing a shot. All of the telemtry data on an F1 car that they display during the speedchannel coverage comes from a computer processed microphone signal so...

both the beltronics fx and fx2 use accelerometers. i have a fx2, and its a great tool once you get it programmed right.
