I concur. Ohm your injectors. Toss any injector that doesn't read between 10-14 Ohms.
Get a voltmeter first if you don't have one. People are fond of tossing out gems like that, as if everyone possesses a voltmeter. Make sure to get a Geiger counter as well. (Not really.)
Cross your fingers and hope it's the 1, 2, or #8 injector, because those are the easiest to get to. I had a bad #8 and replaced it nice and easy. I paid $6.25 for the injector and $45 for labor. Not bad. The shop that diagnosed the problem wanted $313 for an aftermarket one.
The slow shifts? Perform the transmission self-diagnostic. Page 41 of the AT section in the FSM.
Compare the codes, and tell us what it says. If the message comes up "OK", try to get a BG flush. I did. It seemed to clear up the slow shifts.
I spent about an hour poring over the AT section of the FSM and I'm filled with newfound knowledge.
