So I've been looking to upgrade the "drivetrain" of my 1992 240sx some. Basically I want to do a short-throw shifter, new shift boot and new shift knob. A few questions I've come up with:

From what I've read in SEARCH the OBX shifter is crap. Which brings me to the B&M and C's Shifter. I found the B&M for I believe about $230-$250.. I forgot for sure. Is this a good price or does anyone know of a better price/place to get it? Also I've tried the forum's SEARCH and GOOGLE looking for a place and a price on the C's Shifter. Any help finding that would be appreciated.

Onto my next "modification":) I'm in desperate need of a new shift boot as mine looks like ***. Other than Nissan, is there any place I could get one for a good price? I wouldn't mind OEM black boot, but I saw one for the 300zx with red stitching.. the "J-Spec" boot. Would the 300zx boot fit my 240sx? Or should I just pay the price and order a stock black one from Nissan?

And my last question is... other than the Greddy, are there any other shift knobs out there that are nice looking? Greddy is the only one i've been able to find other than the Nismo (which I don't care for too much). Well thanks a lot guys.

You could find the C's short shifter on eBay. However, as for the B&M, they generally msrp for about $230-$250. But when you see the B&M shifter, you'll be impressed by the amount of materials that went into it's construction. Very high quality.
