so it is possible? well about 280 X 2 (per each muffler) = 560? with some piping shouldnt cost more than 600./700. isnt the greddy's gonna be around 1k?Loop wrote:Looking at that price and design. You should wait for GReddy Ti-C to come out. Its a full cat back, designed for the 3.5
It should be available in 1-2 months if you can wait.

well my neighbor got it all done at a local shop for 850 with straight piping, 2 hks mufflers, and installation.Loop wrote:Do you know how much the HKS setup would cost? Including everything and if labor.
When I was at GReddy, one of the R&D representative said it would cost a good 1k for the full system. But I am not sure if thats MSRP. Possibly get it cheaper from a authorized GReddy dealer. You can probably email or call to find the price as it should be coming soon to the U.S.
Its real easy to make any exhaust sound good on a boxer engineJLAUDIO85 wrote:yea imo those HKS hi-power exhaust isnt ricey at all too i think those are sexy plus hks exhaust sound sexy as hell i love big hks exhaust on say WRX lol they are so sexy but i dunno if the coupe will look good with those big cans
The muffler tip alone is almost 5 inches in diameter. The shell is almost 7 inches in diameter. I really don't even think there is enough room between the rear cross member and the bumper opening. I would do some serious measuring if i were you. Play into the puzzle the bending of the piping and hangar placement. If you are planning on running 2 of these mufflers you are going to have to run dual pipes from the cat back to even give the exhaust room to breathe. Even if you get all the piping bent and welded. The mufflers are going to hang wayyyy below the bump and its going to look on the ricey side. However being an entrepreneur will help everyone else out.VQmaniaq wrote:ok...well here is the thing folks. my neighbor installed a hi-power exhaust muffler with a straight pipe, and removed the resonator. so pretty much like an axle-back, not no full cat. so i was wondering, would this be possible on our rides? since we have no resonator to begin with ok, great, get a straight pipe, and hi-power mufflers from hks. pretty sure there will be fitment problems but cant that be adjusted to make it fit?
