1. I have a GTR style(type) of tint to my headlights, and I wanted to change the running light to a blue LED to match my theme (black / blue), but to have it wired to a switch inside the cabin. Any ideas on how I should go about this ??? Plus I can't find the hole in the firewall to pass any wires through there am I going to end up drilling ???
2. I'm switching my reverse lights to LEDs soon, however (also with the theme in mind) do you think it's a good idea to switch them to a blue light or does that lower the visibility greatly ? I imagine it would but i'm not sure how bright the LEDs are in person.

I dont really know anything about either question but i would check to make sure its even legal to have blue lights on the outside of your vehicle before you do anything. Down here in FL its illegal to have any lights that are blue or red or anything really close to those.. for obvious reasons.

Ya well I do figure it's illegal to have blue lights but the running lights will only be on at select times just as the interior lights (blue) are only on at certain times.
The reverse light I would figure to be illegal too but I don't see myself reversing in front of any cops any time soon...

Your first question... I have no clue.
Second question... I agree with the whole, "How often will I reverse in front of a cop?". Answer: Never. And about the whole affecting visibility thing... really, with my tint... when I look in the rearview, I can't really tell if my car is in reverse or not... and I have yet to crash into anything.

I'm sorry let me rephrase, I know how to wire up lights as a DRL. I wanted a blue led in that spot where the amber strip is, or maybe where the stock turn signals are (front)(I have led turn signals) Just for a showroom type appearance I wanted to add the blue light to the front of my car and wasn't sure how to wire it to one of those bulbs to where they are not blinking (as in the turn signal location) or on while my headlights are on (amber parking light) I strictly wanted it with a switch located in the interior
