Couple dumb questions but where does the brake booster hose hook up to on the SR intake manifold? Right under the 4th runner there is a hose that runs out and looks like it would run to the brake booster on a RHD car but it doesn't have a check valve on it so i'm not to sure.

Also there is another large hose that runs out from underneath the intake runners and comes out to the right of the throttle body?

And lastly which coolant hoses does I use for the rad with a koyo? For the bottom on do I just use a stock 240 one? And for the upper one is there an oem one I can buy or do I just have to goto a store and buy a short one with a small bend?

Yes that hose is for the booster vacuum. Use the KA check valve and setup.

That hose is for the idle doohicky (damn it's 2 am and I can't remember its "official" name). Anyways, if you are using the stock cold pipe you will very obviously see where it plugs in. If you are a front mount kit there will be a spot welded onto the cold pipe for this hose to go as well. Regardless this hose MUST BE PLUGGED IN on the cold pipe.

You have many options. Buy OEM from Jspec, HT sells a kit, or you can get a aftermarket silicone kit from Phase2. Yes you can go to an auto store and buy regular straight hose and bend it in place. Be careful they don't hit the clutch fan.

Wow.

Why don't you and your buddy quiksilvia come and bless us with some more from your plethora of useful and in-depth information about the intricacies of an SR20 swap.

Why don't you quit being a prick. You two are so alike. You both come into threads and make retarded posts AFTER the question in the thread has been answered at least once. You are the stupidest of the two though, you come and make an attempt at being cool by flaming a fellow 240 enthusiast. At least your buddy over there doesn't do that, he just posts something redundant.

Do the two of you follow me and SWIFT around? I mean it seems like every thread that we answer, one of the two of you comes and says something stupid. Either it's the same question answered again, or in your case, attempting at making somebody feel bad because they don't have a ton of experience under their belt.

Does that make you feel good? How does this feel; NOBODY LIKES YOU. YOU DO NOT FIT IN. PLEASE LEAVE. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR INTERNET AND NEVER RETURN.

Man... 240 guys, for the most part are all cool with each other. Where the hell did you come from?

EDIT: robbby... if you have more questions, just message me or swift on AIM or something. These two little bandwagoners won't be of any assistance to you. Just ignore them. They are just upset because me and SWIFT constantly expose them for what they really are.

The funny thing is I never asked about vacuum hoses like he said I did. When I first started researching SR's I cut and pasted the many question and answers about the three vacuum hoses into a text file I kept on SR info. My question about the brake booster hose was simply to double check with people who know more than me. Like my original post says I knew where it hooked up to but wanted to double check since my motor didn't have a check valve on the hose.

Budd I appreciate the help and will definately take you up on the IM support as I don't need **** like this from people who think they are so much more hardcore than everyone else.

Please take this as a meaningful apology from the bottom of my heart. I wish you the best of luck in your swap, just dont be like quik and reverse the fuel lines! :)
