Gonna be finishing my setup here over the winter and I think I have made my mind up on going with an enthalpy tune because I have really heard nothing but good things with it. Just wondering do you think the car would be safe to run around 15lbs and around 10 on daily driving and will I need to adjust timing or does the enthalpy take care of that?

This is my setup.

Airesearch t04 .69 a/r exhaust side, not sure about compressor specs though550cc inj(might step up to the ams fuel rail and injectors, same flow though)z32 mafebay front mountcustom ic pipingmegan top mount manifoldtial 38mm wastegatetial bovkoyo radiatorams 2 12" electric fans255 walbroenthalpy ecucustom downpipemotor has arias 8.8:1 forged .20 over pistons, cryo treated rods, and pretty much everything else is stock rebuild.

Thats pretty much my setup just havnt purchased it all yet and like I said I will be running a safc eventually for fine tuning because this will pretty much be a summer daily driver. So basically though I can just plug the ecu and turn up the boost a little and not really worry about anything? Im still gonna bring it to ams to have them make sure the ecu is working correctly though before I really turn the boost up lol. I guess my main question though is will I be able to run a decent amount of boost like 15-17lbs without having to worry?

My bad for such a long writeup but anyone who has knowledge or experience with enthalpy then please chime.

Just curious what do you guys think this setup will make one about 10lbs?

Oh yea forgot to mention I'll prolly throw the crower v2's in before I order the enthalpy, just wondering did u notice a big difference with the v2's? Also have u dynoed your car yet and if so how much did u make on 19lbs and did u run into any problems running that much?

When you give them your specs, they will tune your ecu to your set up.

I think his real q is if the one tune will cover the 10daily and the 15 for fun via the ONE rom tune.... You should be ok so long as the enthalpy is ready. meaning the map will need some"adjustment" to have room for 10 and 15, or have last colums tuned conservative so you can up boost safely on a maxed map. Hell enthalpy may be expanding maps already to suite dual stage... IDK give him a call or email him(phone is better for this IMHO) good luck

Engine Management i was just asking bout the multiple maps. But this is my thread check it out. wut i understand is that you need to tell Enthalpy wat ur max psi would be and then the ecu will adjust according to how much airflow is being pulled through your car

Exactly ^^^

Just get a tune for the max boost/power and the ECU will compensate when you run lower boost.

Yea pretty much I am looking for about 350whp so just tell him thats my target goal and he will kinda be able to figure out on my setup how many pounds I would need to run to get to that? Seems easy enough and it sounds like the next best thing to a full standalone and pretty much the thing that worried me most was with timing and not being able to run a good amount of boost without blowing my **** up but I guess with this I wont really need to be concerned with timing then?

Yeah, my biggest fear was blowing my sh*t up by not knowing enough about tuning a standalone system and the fact I don't have access to a dyno, so I went with an ecu tune, no muss, no fuss. Just shift whoosh!!!

I told him i was goign to be at 10lbs. then turn up to 17ish. I've run it from 8psi all the way to 25 psi when boost spiked and no hesitation, SS camaros don't like me.He didn't do anything for the cams iirc. Crower v2 cams are awesome. Pull great to redline

I'm gonna give him a call here pretty soon and get all the details about it. So if I were to have the ecu tuned and then put cams in afterwards would it affect it anyway? Damn I just need to get my car going again and boosted cuz its been on n off with problems for the almost a year now.....in about 8 months I have put 425 miles on the motor

What details do you need? Tell hmm your setup, piston compression, size of turbo, injectors, mafs, and what gas you'll be running and expected psi range

Pretty much only thing I need to know is if I order for a s13 or s14? Its a 95 motor that I swapped into my 91 and im using the 91 ecu. Another question is do I just leave timing at 20 btdc or will he let me know if I need to adjust timing with the setup I will have? Still new to boosting the 240 so still just trying to learn everything.

if s13 ecu and dizzy tell him s13.... just tell him everything....

you should be leaving you dizzy alone(stock20*).. if he tells you to then by all means go ahead, but the norm is to use the ecu to handle timing...

I might be able to get a # for him, but it's from another guy who will just call him.Scott did have someone deal with all his business and he would just relay information back to him and then Scott is the one that does all the work.Whatever ECU you got tell him that's what oyu have although your going to be sending him the ecu your running now. Unless you buy another and send that to him

FYI, I noticed when I ordered mine from Enthaply, he normally e-mailed me weekdays only between 7:00 and 7:30AM EST. I almost always got e-mails the next day from them. Great people to work with.

I believe I talked back and forth with Chris.
